Update: Added info on the Open lotteries
Teased last month, the final chapter of the METAL RESISTANCE is coming! (No, BABYMETAL is not ending… as far as we know). The first 6 shows are scheduled for late January to late February.
Due to the coronavirus, there are several changes to a regular BABYMETAL show. There will still be an audience, but there will be empty seats between each attendee, so that means less than half of the full venue capacity will be used. Furthermore, all fans are required to wear their own masks, plus a “Savior Mask” which will be handed out. Lastly, and most important to those reading, tickets will only be sold to local Japanese residents, as it is extremely unlikely that Japan’s borders will be open by the time the shows are performed.
Do note that this information is only for the first 6 shows, the last 4 will be announced a later time, and their rules may differ. I had made a travel guide a few weeks ago, though for the moment it doesn’t look like anyone will be able to use it, hopefully for the last 4 shows.
