BABYMETAL has just announced a new set of LEGEND shows for Japan in late January, 2020. The shows will be at the Makuhari Messe (International Exhibition Center), the venue where BABYMETAL has played the most amount of shows. No mention yet of which halls, but we do know it won’t be the 8000 capacity Arena (where they played the LEGEND 1997, 2014 and 2018 shows). It could be like the 2015 show, in halls 1-3 for a total capacity of 25000. LEGEND shows are BABYMETAL’s best, so these will be some shows no fan will want to miss if they have the opportunity to go.

They mention that BABYMETAL is the only act, so likely no opening act for these shows.

The press release mentions that the poster points at each night having a theme (night 1 SUN, night 2 MOON), and each night will be different. It also states that “Attention will be given to what kind of “gigantic metal galaxies” will be shown in a large live show in Japan that will be the culmination of the “Metallic Galactic Journey” that started from the Kanagawa / Yokohama Arena in June 2019.”

Don’t forget the announcement earlier this year about XX DAY (2020/10/10). We have yet to know what this event will be, but given it’s the 10th anniversary, it will probably be big, very… big.
