Update August 8th: BABYMETAL have revealed a few more things:
– New Trailer
– The live album will be released at the same time as the live video products.
– The live album is mastered by Ted Jensen, who mastered the 2014 Budokan album as well (the girls even visited him in his New York studio in May and November 2014).
– Cover artwork has been revealed (they are all the same image, except for the blu-ray first press edition)
– Pre-order bonuses have been revealed (must preorder by Wednesday, August 18th at 11:59 PM JST)
At the end of the “10 BABYMETAL BUDOKAN WORLD PREMIERE” livestream BABYMETAL announced the sale of the “10 BABYMETAL BUDOKAN” shows, which will be sold in several different formats and sets.
There is an international release, but only for the live album (CD and vinyl). The rest announced here is for Japan.
- Standard Edition Blu-ray/DVD features the last performance (same one which was streamed).
- First Press Limited Edition has 2 blu-rays in a LP sized jacket, features the first and last performances.
- Live Album contains the last performance. Available as CD (Standard Edition) and vinyl (Limited Edition).
2 versions for THE ONE members:
- THE ONE Limited Edition has 2 blu-rays and 4 cds from DOOMSDAYS V ~ VIII, as well as a 64 page photobook
- THE ONE Complete Edition has 5 blu-rays and 10 cds from DOOMSDAYS I ~ X, as well as a 104 page photobook
There will also be pre-order bonuses depending on when, where, and what you buy.
Sadly the way these set are sold mean that several songs that fans were looking forward to are THE ONE only. THE ONE Limited Edition and Complete Edition have Onedari Daisakusen, Akatsuki, BxMxC, and Brand New Day, and more importantly probably the most looked forward to song, From Dusk Till Dawn, since this is it’s first Pro-shot release (the Palladium performance in 2017 was never released) is exclusive to the $600+ USD Complete Edition.
