BABYMETAL Officially Announces “SONGS OF TOKYO 2020 FESTIVAL” Participation

KOBAMETAL and Rockmaykan’s owner discuss the music industry’s current situation due to the pandemic and Koba mentions how he plans to help this historic venue.
They had postponed the shows before, but sadly they have now confirmed that they are cancelled.
The festivals were all cancelled already, but now the 4 solo shows have also been cancelled.
The festival had to be cancelled as the Swiss government banned all events with over 1000 people until September due to the coronavirus pandemic.
BABYMETAL was originally scheduled to perform on March 20th, 2020, it got postponed in early March. BABYMETAL now has a performance date of January 11th, 2021.
The government will not allow it to be held and it has been postponed to next year.
BABYMETAL was supposed to play on June 10th in Austria. However, the country announced that no concerts or festivals will be allowed until the end of June due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
BABYMETAL were scheduled to play on Sunday, June 14th on the main stage. But due to the situation given by the coronavirus pandemic, it has been cancelled.
This includes all 4 solo shows in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Taiwan, as well as KNOTFEST JAPAN. No announcement yet on PULP SUMMER SLAM (Philippines festival in May).
